We played basketball

At our school, learning goes beyond the classroom. On March 24th, the kids went to the playground, where they practiced playing basketball on a toy hoop. They had seen the characters from their books enjoying this game and were excited to try it themselves. 

The objective of this activity was to teach them not only vocabulary, such as play, ball, basketball, throw, playground, and the numbers 1-5, but also to develop their motor skills and have fun. Having fun plays a big role in our classes! 

After this activity, they were allowed to play freely in the playground. On March 26th, they had to detach basketball cutouts and glue them into their books. Once again, we practiced our vocabulary and motor skills. The kids loved learning about basketball! 

Nós jogamos basquete

Em nossa escola, o aprendizado vai além da sala de aula. No dia 24 de março, as crianças foram ao parquinho, onde praticaram basquete em uma cesta de brinquedo. Elas tinham visto os personagens do livro se divertindo com esse jogo e ficaram animadas para tentar.

O objetivo dessa atividade foi ensinar não apenas vocabulário, como jogar/brincar, bola, basquete, arremessar, parquinho e os números de 1 a 5, mas também desenvolver suas habilidades motoras e se divertir. A diversão tem um papel importante em nossas aulas!

Após essa atividade, as crianças puderam brincar livremente no parquinho.

No dia 26 de março, elas tiveram que destacar bolas de basquete e colá-los em seus livros. Mais uma vez, praticamos nosso vocabulário e habilidades motoras.

As crianças adoraram aprender sobre basquete!
